Megan Duma started her career practicing white collar criminal defense for a large firm in San Diego in 2007. She then transitioned to in-house counsel for an internet marketing company where she gained a background in trademark, contract disputes, employment issues and crypto currency litigation.
From 2015-2019 Megan began investing in real estate full time.
In Kansas City, she has been involved with historic tax credit projects, opportunity zone projects, large seller-finance deals, redemption right cases, land bank acquisitions, defense of title, quiet title, contract disputes, and criminal investigations related to mortgages and real estate. She has also done zoning, short term rental permits, contracts related thereto, and other City-related property issues in both Kansas and Missouri.
Having reached real estate law as an investor herself, she operates from an entrepreneur's mindset: pragmatic, cost-effective, and goal driven.
